Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Roamly. By accessing or using Roamly, you agree to these terms and to Roamly's Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use Roamly. If you use Roamly on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by your local law, to use Roamly. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms on your own, you may use Roamly only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Your Account

Roamly uses Google, Apple, or other supported sign-in methods to create and access accounts. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure.

You may not impersonate another person, use another person's account without permission, create accounts to evade enforcement, or interfere with Roamly's authentication and security systems.

Use Roamly Safely

Roamly challenges are meant to be fun, ordinary, and safe. You are responsible for your choices while completing a challenge.

  • Do not trespass or enter restricted, dangerous, or private areas without permission.
  • Do not break laws, local rules, venue policies, or posted instructions.
  • Do not use Roamly while driving, biking, crossing streets, or doing anything requiring attention.
  • Do not harass, follow, photograph, or record people in ways that violate privacy or consent.
  • Do not disturb wildlife, pets, service animals, property, workers, or emergency activity.
  • Do not take unsafe risks to complete a challenge or improve a score.

Challenge Submissions

You are responsible for the photos, comments, profile details, and other content you submit to Roamly. Only submit content that you have the right to submit.

Challenge submissions should be real-world photos that you took for the relevant challenge. Screenshots, AI-generated images, copied images, old unrelated photos, edited images that misrepresent the subject, and misleading submissions may be rejected, removed, rescored, or treated as cheating.

Your Content License

You keep ownership of content you submit to Roamly. By submitting content, you grant Roamly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, analyze, display, publish, transmit, adapt for formatting, and use that content to operate, improve, promote, and protect Roamly.

This license includes showing your public content in leaderboards, profiles, social proof, challenge feeds, previews, and related Roamly features. If you delete content or your account, Roamly will stop displaying deleted content where reasonably possible, but copies may remain in backups, logs, cached views, moderation records, or places where other users already interacted with it.

Community Rules

You may not submit content or use Roamly in a way that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory.
  • Contains sexual content, graphic violence, self-harm content, or exploitation of minors.
  • Shares private information about another person without permission.
  • Infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights.
  • Impersonates someone else or misrepresents your identity, score, location, or submission.
  • Contains malware, spam, scams, automated abuse, or attempts to disrupt Roamly.
  • Attempts to manipulate leaderboards, scoring, likes, comments, reports, or challenge results.

Scoring and Leaderboards

Roamly may use automated systems, AI review, anti-cheat signals, user reports, and manual review to score, approve, reject, moderate, or rank submissions. Scores and moderation decisions may be imperfect.

Roamly may remove submissions, adjust points, recalculate streaks, update leaderboard ranks, hide private users from public rankings, or suspend accounts when needed to protect fairness, safety, or the integrity of the game.

Reports and Moderation

Roamly may provide tools to report submissions, comments, accounts, or other behavior. You can also contact support about safety, abuse, copyright, privacy, or moderation concerns.

Roamly may review, remove, limit, or preserve content and account records when needed to enforce these terms, protect users, comply with law, or investigate abuse.

Account and Content Controls

  • You can update your avatar.
  • You can make your profile public or private.
  • You can delete your own submissions.
  • You can delete your account and related Roamly records.
  • You can log out to revoke the current Roamly access token.

Third-Party Services

Roamly may rely on third-party services for hosting, storage, authentication, AI review, app stores, push notifications, security, and other operations. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and policies.

No Paid Features Yet

Roamly currently does not describe any paid features in these terms. If paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases are added later, additional terms may apply before you buy or subscribe.

Service Changes

Roamly may add, remove, suspend, or change features, challenges, prompts, scoring, storage, availability, account controls, and other parts of the service at any time. Roamly may also limit or discontinue the service.

Termination

You may stop using Roamly at any time. Roamly may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or limit features if Roamly believes you violated these terms, created risk or legal exposure, or used the app in a way that harms Roamly, users, or the public.

Disclaimers

Roamly is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roamly disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation. Roamly does not guarantee that challenges are safe or suitable for your location or circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roamly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, property damage, or losses arising from unsafe or unlawful real-world activity connected to your use of Roamly.

Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Roamly harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of Roamly, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

Disputes

Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact Roamly and try to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law.

Changes to These Terms

Roamly may update these terms as the app evolves. If changes are material, Roamly will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page, changing the last updated date, or providing an in-app notice. Continued use of Roamly after changes means you accept the updated terms.
